Went down in March (SxSW)!! I LOVE ROCK!! (I'm a Musician.) YES!! I became very "acquainted" w/ S. Congress. I stayed off of "Oltorf" & "S. Congress" was my main drag to Downtown. OMG!! "Fran's Hamburgers", "Magnolia's Cafe" (Went to lunch there.), & waiting 4 the bus in front of School off of Mary St. I used the "Twin Oaks Library" , went 2 CVS, AND "H-E-B'S" for food (I stayed @ "Extended..." hotel. Can't wait to MOVE down! Ever since, I AM AUSTIN (home) SICK! I put this Vid in My Favs. here.
Thanks for making this, I really like watching these types of videos of the surrounds. Its like I'm there checking it all out too on a beautiful texas sunny day. I was wondering if they have any tributes in Austin for my favourite guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan?
antomphs - Yes! Austin had a big bronze statue of Stevie Ray Vaughn made and installed permanently at Auditorium Shores, right on the south shore of Town Lake. I featured it up close in Sights and Sounds of Austin part 6.
