Again, I've told you once already, if you are faster, drivetrain means nothing. You think the race prepped WRX/STI/Evo's are concerned about Drivetrain when they see PTuning's Scion tC passing them up on the track? You think an Evo driver is concerned about what wheels are turning when he is getting beat by someone else? They just know they lost and the other guy was faster. For the money it's a stout car on boost. 2.4L of displacement so a decent sized 4cyl.

There are however, AEM EMS, Hydra, Haltech and the X1 standalone management systems that are available for the tC that you never have to worry about the factory ECU.

Check out the guys like myself, and guys I know, and pro teams smashing records and it shows the potential of the chassis. 700hp is nothing new to a tC. Jotech has one with 740+ and running a stock crankshaft on top of that. The transmission is super stout. Seen as much as 700+whp on a stock tranny.

A stock Evo will get walked on by a basic bolted on turbo kit Scion tC, I should know, I have vids of me doing it. A tC on 9-10lbs of boost is going to put you at 300whp/300+wtq depending on the turbo. That's going to be way to much for an Evo, STI, 350z, etc...to handle. They are lighter than those cars to begin with, and giving them the power behind it = winning races. Is FWD better than AWD, of course not. Not what I'm saying . I'm saying drivetrain means nothing when you are faster.

I wouldn't consider 103 oct to be "high". I can get 110 at the pump. Most gas stations where I live have 93 oct as premium, and one Gas station has 110 race gas on pump. I imagine you are speaking along the lines of putting race gas in and tuning the car for it right? Cause just throwing race gas in there is not going to be nearly as beneficial as if you tuned it for the specific octane.
