cool movie and all,but seriously inaccurate.leonidas DID fight with his main group of 300 Spartans,but there were also about 8,000 Greeks assisting them.Plus the Spartans used their slaves to fight for them in combat as well.and leonidas was one of the first Spartans to die.although they did kill like half the Persian army while remaining in phalanx formation as long as they could instead of doing "twirly whirly" stunts

The belgium army was no match for the large and powerfull army of the germans, but instead of surrendering and let the army pass they fought brave, few stood against many. The Germans never expected to get such huge resistance from such a small country they thought they could just pass in their blitzkrieg.
