Loved this number more than I can say. I saw the movie and as I watched it I thought this is the best musical ever made. and then the end just died and I was so let down. such perfect performances, blocking, choreograpgy, film editing, costumes etc. But then the end was blah. They even cut the most touching song "Getting tall" sung by gueedo at nine yrs. it would have explained it better to keep it in and it needed a big finish. But every one in it was amazing and cinima Italiano was the best

I loved the music, but the direction is nauseating. Rob Marshall tried too hard to combine Hollywood and classic Italian cinema and the results are most of the time atrocious. It's one of the films that I'd like to see remade in the right hands.

This film is a very good film, with great musical numbers in it, this being one of them, but if people can't read the internal messages of the film then they are not going to appreciate how good the film is. and this film has some great stars in it such as: Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Stacey Ferguson (Fergie), Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Sophia Loren.
