google Igor Moiseyev and you will understand. Also, russian choreographers have had a huge influence on modern egyptian bellydance, to argue this is to deny history.
@kiwikashmir And you did not try to start reading the title? So right and written by Igor Moiseyev Ballet. And yes you not find in it and how to platitude belidens because what they depict - the art and not vulgar wobble hips.
@Elerianna - I was actually replying to the people who thought it was belly dance - which it is not. But neither is it "Egyptian" - I've studied both belly dance and Egyptian folkoric dance for over 20 years. Further "belly dance" - raqs sharqi and raqs beledi - is not vulgar wobbling hips. The hips are used - and used by men, women and children as part of their folk dance - no hips - not Egyptian.
how to download this video ?? :(

I think this is more Russian/Egyptian interpretive dance than the Russian ballerinas trying to do an authentic Egyptian belly dance.
After the rigorous structure of ballet, this must be a lot of fun for them.
Absolutely beautiful women!

Actually not belly dance - but ballet with sa`iidi folkloric costume. Music, arms, feet and attitude all wrong for Egyptian of almost any style.
