  • Hoddle was not a god, he was a Spur, and like all Spurs he was Scum. Except Sol Campbell, and he had to spend so much time in the Highbury decontamination chamber that it rattled the foundation and Arsenal had to build a new stadium.

  • Parlour's just a football nobody.

  • @marcuscato and what have you done then fuck all i bet

  • who stole the luggage??? ray parlour

  • Hoddle was absolute class. I well remember a goal he scored against my team, Liverpool, where he absolutely blasted it on the volley past our goalie, and that was at Anfield. I think that got goal of the season. I am a Liverpool fan but us reds recognise class when we see it, and believe me Hoddle was class {never beat Johnny Barnes though. Hehehe}.

  • not even on the same planet!!!! hoddle was finest of his generation, parlour was a typical george graham run round looking busy bag of shite!!! some players win more than others but dont compare this gypo with a football genius.

  • hear,hear......Hoddle was a GOD,this pikey cunt couldnt wave a shitty stick at him. Turn your pants insideout again Ray,it's beginning to smell a bit.

  • It may well have been 3 league titles but he was an instrumental part of the success...fair enough Hoddle had more skills than Parlour...but he was still a quality player with the Medals to back it up!

  • baddycomp, Parlour won 3 league titles you thick cunt. And as a footballer he's not fit to be mentioned in the same breath as Glenn Hoddle.

  • shut your noise wanker

  • Parlour - 4 League Titles/ Hoddle - 0 League Titles

    Parlour - 4 FA Cup medals/ Hoddle - 1 FA Cup medal

    Parlour - 1 League Cup medal/ Hoddle - 0 League Cup medals

    Conclusion: Parlour > Hoddle

  • nah, conclusion: Arsenal>Spurs. nowt more

  • Sorry, mate UEFA Cup title trumps all that! Parlour was a journeyman footballer at the very best, lucky to have got in the Engalnd dressing room and make the tea, never mind play.

  • @Hicksie52

    Years Club Apps

    1992–2004 Arsenal 339

You call him a journeyman footballer; I don't think you know what "journeyman" means.

You don't really believe that a single UEFA cup trumps two doubles and an unbeaten season. You don't.

Hoddle had all the individual talent in the world but Ray won things. Many things. Which would you rather have in your team?

  • @atlatlable Err,,,yes I do. A journeyman is a worker who provides solid, but not excellent work. If Hoddle is Michelangelo, Parlour is....Lowry!

You only really prove your worth by competing, and winning abroad. 'The bog-standard' Parlour never did that...

Who would I rather have in my team? Hoddle.

  • Hoddle had 2 Fa cup winers medals but the important this is that he was the most gifted English player of his time

  • Parlour wasn't fit to lace Hoddle's boots, nor was any Arse player before Henry and Bergkamp (also a Spurs fan).

  • too fucking right. this useless ginger twat isn't worthy enough to mention the great man's name.

  • Did he ever win the league and cup double?

    Karma Chameleon

  • Talentless, classless pikey cunt. Romford scum.

  • Short back and sides LOL!! Anyone who subscribes to "faith healers", and other paranormal garbage, deserves ridicule. Though I don't think bringing in that deluded, fraudulent Drewery crank is a laughing matter. It actually caused a great deal of animosity in the England team. Who the hell was supposed to be keeping Hoddle in check at the time??

  • it's a shame the tottenham fans can't recognise a real football man.

  • how many titles has Hoddle won. none and parlour , four.

  • Good point! How many League titles has Hoddle won?? 0...oh sorry no he won the French League title!! Parlour...3 i believe, plus 4 FA Cups in which 1 he got Man of the Match and the another he scored in! Add to that the League Cup and the Cup Winners Cup!

  • sorry, your right it is 3 titles i can't count. Better than Hoddle still though.

  • He should have been in that england side. I'm not saying he was in Glen Hoddles leauge but he should have gone to that world cup.

  • He's talking shit about Hoddle because he's the football management equivalent of Ned Flanders who couldn't get over his anti-Arsenal bias.

  • Parlour you're a c*nt, Parlour Parlour you're a c*nt

  • what a prick !you werent even in Hoddle's league you ginger tit !you didnt play enugh games for England because you were'nt ....

    GOOD ENOUGH!

  • maybe so. but it is well known he was left out of the england squad by hoddle due to pathetic non football reasons.

  • And Darren Anderton was? You might as well have put Christopher Reeve out on the right, he got injured so much. Hoddle may have been a great player but he was a shit manager.
