I made the wars with two colors. I did the inner and connected with a slip stitch in red, cut and tied on my gold yarn, then chained three to start the outer ds.
thank you so much!! i'm making a beanie that looks like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh for my boyfriend's little brother. watching this and your how to make a beanie video was the only way i could learn!! before, all i could make was a scarf. thank you!
[ i can't log out of my mother's account to log into mine but here it goes anyway]
my hat isn't curving downward- it's staying flat. The only part that is working is when i start on the section where the part is suppose to go straight down, is that it is going straight down but it's messed up... perhaps my stitches aren't tight enough? but I'm not really sure... this is the 5th hat that this is happening to me on and I'm really getting discouraged...
@Rhondanamissgucci You need to keep increasign until the circumference of your hat is 1 inch SMALLER than the circ of your head. then stop increasing and continue with 1 stitch in each stich
Thanks for making this tutorial! This was my first time crocheting and I I could follow your instructions easy :) The only thing I wasn't 100% on was how to sew on the ears at the end, no big deal got them on but that was the only thing, everything else - really great, so cute!
I havent tried this yet, but I will its just too cute. Thank you for explaining this so well! Ive also bookmarked your site, there are so many things there I want to try :O)
@Phaythful The crochet hook is a Clover brand hook, you can get them on ebay or online stores, I can also get them from my local craft store. They are very nice to use and easy on the hands
@gumdots17 I think the ears would work for the Mikey mouse. But i think you will have to make them bigger. On the third row instead of just 1 DC in each DC I would do 1 DC in the next stitch and then INC in the next (thats 2 DC'd in the same stitch ) and then repeat this around and then follow the rest of the video
Let me know if you need any help :) Happy Crochet !
hmmm now that is a good question .. i have never made elephant ears ..do yu want them like the bear ears only larger ? or a different shape ? let me know and i will see what i can do :O)
You did a great job on showing how to crochet a baby beanie!!!! I made it for my 2 1/2 month old baby boy!!! Im just beginer in crochet!!!! And it came out perfect with you help!!! Waiting on more videos from you :))))
I am glad you loved it ! Did you make the size that was shown or did you use the tips on making it the correct size more /less rounds? Dont forget to subscribe to my channel to stay updated on new video's
Hi!!! Yes i made the size that you showed, its no to tight and not to big. I would like to make a blanket for my baby, do you have any advice? For beginners? :)))
I see you left a comment on the granny strip. I think that would be a easy pattern for a beginner OR if you need something even easier a Double Crochet blanket would be easy to ..Mikeyssmail has a tutorial on how to make one ...just go to his channel and this is the name of the video Start Basic Crochet Blanket - Learning From The Beginning
There are some comments on there too that may help you
Thanks so much for this video. This is the first one thats actually clear and understandable. My nephew looked so cute in hisnew bear beanie i made him thanks sooo much :-)
I am really busy over the next week with work sooooo....
Did you need to know what stitch i used for attaching the ears? i used a whip stitch ..search here on you tube ..i have tried to post a link 3 times and it wont let me .... Sew a Whip Stitch by Hand by cyberseams is a good one ...except you will not need to tie a knot as you will have the long tail from making the ear
Thank You Lovely Job, I can't wait to get started a question I have 2 ---16 month old's both boys do I need to make more round's an it's not winter yet but do ya think their heads might grow more a if so how amny more rounds should I do just to be on the safe side Awsome
from all the videos ive seen this isnt bad - its actually quite easy to see what you're doing, its amazing how some people cover up where the hook is going into the stitch. also maybe slow down at a few points, eg when you're starting the first type of stitch. but overall it was helpful :)
Bob can you please make a Winnie the pooh hat ! I have tried & tried with no luck making the nose ..Thank you !

Thank you for your lesson. I'm so happy that I can make some hats for my nephew this Christmas. By the way, I want to make a Piggy Amigurumi
Can I follow the way you make the red ball for the piggy body and the ears of the hat for its ears legs. Thanks again.

slimjleo1955 2 years ago
Hi !
Yes you would need to make more rounds of the increase ..just follow the advice on making a beanie larger for a larger head
I think their heads will grow but i am unsure on how much as i dont have any little ones of my own
At a guess i would say at least a round or two of increase
If you still need help with the increase just let me know and i will see if i can help you ..have a great day
