  • did you record this with a toaster?

  • bellisimo bellisimoooo

  • where can i found the piano sheet?

  • Dear @Thatmetaldude590, My God! It is not Chopin, it is Mozart, Chopin did not compose the only Funeral March. So dis Beethoven, Wagner and many many others. No intend to offense whatsoever.

  • Genial e humano.

  • Not good quality of record :(

  • Too fast! A funeral March are slower...

  • @Thatmetaldude590 its chopin dummy

  • @emlmm88 Hah, shit, I'm taking that away.

  • @Thatmetaldude590 what do you meen.....this video had a slight error...it was actually Chopin who composed the funeral march.

  • i love this piece of art

  • although short, the melody is extended in memory

  • when I first heard mademe want to die, beautiful, beautiful, very difficult to express

  • Esta música es Xcelente....

  • Pianoman1770 I have that same book and have been practicing for weeks, the first song I've tried is Menuet and Trio, the second was the first movement of Sonata in C Major, I skipped quite a few songs and will eventually try some of the others.

  • @Crayterm13 haha oh really? lol I got that book for the purpose of this piece! Now that you mention it, I'ma try those piece to practice my sightreading! xD How long have you been playing? lol

  • @HerlockSholmes123 ohhh okay! lol but yeah you definately should! There are a bunch of really easy pieces so yeah! Hope you enjoy! :D And no problem! xD

  • @HerlockSholmes123 Hey! I ordered this sheet music and it came in a book called "W. A. Mozart: An introduction to his keyboard works" (edited by Willard A. Palmer) lol this Kochel number is in the description :D lol but its K. 451 xD You're welcome! :D

  • Your performance is brilliant.

  • could you please tell me which Kv is it??

  • I was reading some of the comments. This piece reminds one better of Beethoven's "Funeral Marche" (rhythm-wise) from Sonata Op. 12. Unless LVB wrote his when he was 14, well ..., Chopin definitely not. We need to have more Music Appreciation Courses delivered in schools me thinks!

  • Dear Josh,

Very nicely played. I like the dynamic range!

What is the K number on this piece please? I would very much like it for my repertoire.

    Thanks!

    Tom

  • @Whatsurname12341 if you have a problem with my videos, stop watching them. And complaining about it isn't going to get you anywhere either.

  • @Pianoman1770 im just saying wheres the hot chicks in bikkinis

  • @Pianoman1770 this video is awesome. i appreciate the music.

  • @Pianoman1770 So by saying that you're saying you are not taking critics? Wow...

He's just saying he didn't like the quality, wich I hated, but teh playing itself is good. He's just saying that the quality is shit, wich it is.

  • @Diffomega I apologize for misunderstanding what he was saying. However, I AM taking critic. As a musician, I always look forward to it, but when its not understandble (ie strange wording) then I won't have any idea what they're talking about. So yeah. And yes, I TOTALLY agree with you on the quality. I recorded it off computer, played on my Clavinova! haha I will hopefully be getting a better recorder soon so that means better videos! :D

  • @Pianoman1770 I'm sure the comments section and the thumbs system are both here for critique.

  • @Pianoman1770 Everyone has the right to comment! Then if you have a problem with their comments, stop posting videos.

  • @Whatsurname12341 - because they're all dead... :(

  • HOLY CRAP! 40,000!! THANKS YOU GUYS!! LOL hahahaha i never thought i'd ever get this many views on one of my vids! lol

  • To call it a vid reveals a mind not constrained by normal boundaries of rationality or logic. You are way out on your own - or maybe away with the fairies.

  • @Pianoman1770 You Play beautiful.

  • @Roma720 Thank you very much! lol I'm so suprised this is my most popular video! haha

  • Chopin's fineral march begins like this.

But he had a huge individualism.

    Chopin is Chopin!

  • i play this piece too its very nice

  • My dera polish friends, you can't compare this marche funebre fro Mozart and the one of our great Chopin...

Mozart gave as title "Marcia funebra del signor maestro contapunto"

co to znacze... that means that he used mistakes that his pupil was making as she was trying to compose some music... exagerating her mistakes to let her understand what she shouldn't do...

this funebral music is a joke and not a real marche funebre...

    No i prosze bardzo ! :))

    :

  • HAHA Thanks for all the comments you guys! i had NO idea my video would pass 30,000 viewers in ONE YEAR! lol and thanks to my polish viewers! i have NO idea what you're saying but thanks for commenting anyways! :D lol

  • you posted good music, and I respect that and thank you soooo much for this amazing Post !

  • well you are very welcome! i'm glad you enjoyed it so much! XD

  • I hope you were kidding, cause Chopin was born 18 years after Mozart's death!

Mozart was the best Classical period composer, and Chopin was one the outstanding composers of the Romantic period.

  • Yes, I am Kidding, the fact that tons of people posted these Chopin endorsing comments on a Mozart Video! just made me post that, I luv Chopin's Music, and I am Aware of the Era's they both lived and Composed In, But Mozart Remains the ever-lasting Occupant of the Thrown Of Music.

  • @pouria6889 you right!!!

  • @pouria6889 19 years no ?

  • @pouria6889 Chopin greatly admired Mozart, telling a friend to "Play Mozart in memory of me"

  • yay! an actual cultivated person

  • @jojo0222 LMAO! Thank you! This musica is all I listen to :D Thank you for watching! More videos are to be coming soon!

  • this is really good! i miss you and love you!

  • Według mnie, Chopin wykonał to o wiele lepiej.

  • The little kid did a pretty good job of writing the piece, eh?.

  • You were right Pianoman1770, it has only been about 36 hours and I already know it by heart. It may be that simple, but never the less, it is a beautiful peace.

Personaly, I belive only J.S. Bach is (or were) better than Mozart.

  • thats great :) maybe you should post you playing it on youtube :)... and idk if bach has a marche funebre...?

  • Oh, and Pianoman1770, I liked how you played this peutiful piece. Actualy I just found the sheet music, but I "fell in love" with it right away. First thing tomorrow, I´ll beg my teacher to give me this as homework, or else I´ll learn it by myself.

  • lol well this song is farely easy, i think you can learn it yourself!

  • I was just wondering, palantini, who you refered as "copycat". If you have learned any musichistory, you know that Mozart lived

1756-1791, while Chopin lived 1810-1849, so calling Mozart a copycat is not an option. I haven´t heard all Chopins marche funeral, but if anything, Chopin was the "copycat."

  • lol not even close to chopin's.. im learning his right now!... plus it depends which marche funebre by chopin?

  • oooh Marche Funbere be Chopin is great...

Its chords, funnily enouch, are larger than life lol.

I only know the Andante but a great piece!

  • its by mozart lol

  • Well actually Chopin is the copycat, instead of Mozart. Because Mozart lived approximately one hundred years before Chopin;)

And besides of that, this one isn't even close to Chopin's!

    I love them both!:D

Btw, does somebody has the music sheet for me? I'm not very good in playing the piano, but I'm sure I can manage playing this wonderful piece!:')

  • well see there are schemes a classical composer had to follow at that time to create a piece. i would say nobody can beat mozart for style sobriety and greatness, but i the first minute of chopin's funeral march has so much more to tell me.

  • you are not very good at English either

  • what are you talking about?

  • Sorr for the last comment: Chopin was played in a tab in the background :)

  • There is nothing in this video to do with chopin.

  • Nice Digital Piano, I would have liked to have seen at least some fades to you playing, from the painting.

    thanx.
