I hope WalMart has to cough up $50,000,000 for this mans death which COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED.

WalMart loves to have the mobs rush in because then they grab more than they need in a frenzy, they market these events yet do not take the necessary actions to protect the mob or the employees.

On the other hand, I hope WalMart has to pay out $200,000,000 to this man's family.

I am also white and I agree with you! This mans family lost a loved one! You can't put a price on that. Also....I hope there is no more black fridays at walmart. Its horrible, they should stop doing that....why cause a frenzy?

There is no doubt that Walmart will be held responsible for this tragedy. As Jason says in the video above, there were so many simple steps that could have been taken to prevent this. I expect a big settlement will be announced within the next 6 to 8 months. If Walmart allows this case to go to trial it would be a public relations nightmare. We can only hope that this highly publicized tragedy will force stores to take appropriate precautions in the future.
