American Vega = Japanese Balrog

American Balrog = Japanese M. Bison

American M. Bison = Japanese Vega

From what I've heard, it has to do with copyright issues and localization. The character we know as Balrog was based on Mike Tyson, and Capcom was worried that they'd be taken to court over the name, so they changed the other bosses as well.

At the end of the first round it shows that bisons ex scissors only go through projectiles if done at point blank range.

i usually just use psycho crusher in those situations, the ex seems to be more reliable to go through projectiles

Bison is in the middle of a teleport at that moment - he's completely invincible to Ken's normals during that time.
