  • Yea i cried at this part big whoop wanna fight about it?

  • 15 of them are son of kate and williams

  • I was homeless once and lived in a mens shelter. I made it out but just barely, then years later when I saw this movie and this scene especially - I couldn't hold back the torrents of tears.

  • The feeling that he had in this scene was a Unique one .. I have felt that once in my life.. When you are in a deep hole.. you see a beam of light that you can catch upon

  • This is one of my favorite parts of all movies

  • 1:30 "was as easy as it looked?" I cryed like a six year old girl.

  • @dsallesberges i cry every time i see this part of the movie lol

  • Wasn't he holding a briefcase or something at 2:23? How was he able to clap and put both hands in the air while still walking?

  • @GoldenWarrior7 it's hard to tell if he's holding something, he might just be waving his hands

  • thats the feeling of success from hard work. i want that feeling

  • Qué pedazo de actor, grande Will Smith!

  • OMG! I just noticed the cameo by Chris Gardner after watching this movie countless times. LOL :) He's still looking pretty sharp in the 'power suit'

  • Who the hell would dislike this?

  • I Cried !!! really brings happiness !!! What a beautiful world :)

  • @4:12

    The REAL Chris Gardner.

  • "The Constitution doesn't guarantee happiness, only the pursuit of it. You have to catch up with it yourself"

    -Benjamin Franklin-

Well Chris certainly did catch up with it....

  • whats the background music called ?

i need it for an exam paper.

  • @jaykeuhb it's The Pursuit Of Happyness Soundtrack - Welcome Chris

  • This is a painful movie for me to watch, but gives me hope that you must stick to you dreams.

  • I wonder if the executives knew what he had to go through to get that job... well they do now :)

  • this is such a beautifull movie thank you will smith

  • did anyone notice Chris Gardner 4:14

  • @salahpcw

Holy smokes! I didn't even notice that! This is a really beautiful scene and the only reason one can relate to it is either having gone through it themselves, or watching the entire movie and seeing what Gardner really went through. That's the key to this film I think. When you look at the guy walking down the street, you never really know what sort of tribulations he's going through....or she for that matter. It's too bad we couldn't just "know", because we'd be much nicer.

  • @MaestroDraven Yes that's definitely true... We ourselves smile and laugh even in the worst and terrible moments of our journey

    Goodluck in ur life

  • For anyone who has ever worked on the trading floor of a brokerage firm... There comes a moment where you get that sense of "success" or "happiness"... Will Smith captured it in the most beautiful way possible in his role in this movie. Hats off to the man.

  • i really love this movie...its really a great great n great movie i hv ever seen...

  • This is the real Criteria for the SUCCESS in LIFE:

    Attitude 40%

    Hardwork 30%

    Intelligence 20%

    Luck 10%

    Attitude is very important!

As a good employee, you must show also your humbleness, obedience, patience and kindness in front of your boss. That's how attitude gives value in order to become a successful. Even thou your working hard, skillful and lucky but your attitude is bad, is stil useless. . . .

  • @alloakland1 Wow. What a piece of shit you are.

  • TO SHOW dat THE MIN WORK IS MUCH MUCH GREATER than the physical work. he didnt work in a factory like his wifee. AND HE GOT THE BETTER job. stay in school!

  • First time I cried watching a movie. I remember all the auditorium clapped at the end of it.

  • The 14 people that disliked this have no heart or never understood true happiness.

  • Man I love this movie. Will Smith should have gotten an Oscar for this.

  • If this scene didnt make u tear up.. U have no soul!!

  • INCREIBLE PERO ESTAS COSAS SUCEDEN !!!

  • I cried with him

  • i cry every time i see this

  • i jumped out of my seat and start clapping n crying T_T so emotional best movie ever

  • <3333333

  • @letthetruthsetufree god doesnt save you and he wont save you, people make their own dreams come true and make their own miracles happen i would of thought if u took any message away from this movie it was that exact concept. u cant sit around and wait for some one to save u or wait for a miracle to happen because you'l be waiting your hole life. and yes good people suffer, even the ones with great faith and hope, but they waste their faith in god instead of themselves.

  • @example6978 but you dont realize that after the storm fades and the cloud moves all thats left is sunshine that means after time of great sarrow only good is yet to come so you can judge me cause i keep my faith and say im stupid for belevin in what i do every human has its different stand points in life some could be good or some bad but for the good there will be an award that the end of the journey that we call life

  • @example6978 some would argue believing in oneself is believing in the Creator as we all come from the same source and are given the breath of life...

  • this movie is fuckin amazing

  • the tears and expressions in the end on the face of will smith when he is offered a job is almost out o f the this world....

I see it everytime when I am at low point of my life...it gives me the strength..

nothing can be natural expressions than these...it's superb...

  • The perfect reminder for what the 4th of July is about - the freedom to work and desire and love toward having whatever we want in our lives. What an inspiration!

  • Excellent performance about the life of an incredible man. 3 years ago I divorced my cheating wife, got laid off, lost my home, filed bankruptcy. I remembered this movie and I knew it would be OK. I started a business that helped me survive and last week GOT HIRED at an insurance company FULL TIME good salary, benefits, etc... When they offered me the job I thought of this scene and cried. I hope it inspires you as well.

  • This movie talk to you and say:Do you think you have problems?...just see me

  • love the added detail of chris gardner walking by at the ended. a lot of critics slated this movie for being about money, but they don't know what it's like not having enough money to give your family the life you feel they deserve.

  • this makes me cry like a baby and im 5'11 and a 'hench' rungy player :S

  • 13 people have lost the pursuit of happYness.

  • when they went "was it as easy as it looked?" I burst into tears. Anybody who's been in situations like it know why I did

  • i cant believe he was able to hold in the tears!, even i started to tear up alittle

  • the guy who walked by at 4:30 is the real jackie chan

  • @SodhiFamily100 Yep, apparently he was a wife beater in real life. The story sounds better without that part in it though.
