  • An idea which was ahead of its time but didn't catch on. Jack Payne composed "Walking in the sun". Joe Sargeant sounds very similar to Val Rosing you sang it on the Jack Payne version.

  • Regal, and UK Zonophone were owned by Columbia, the Double track was used in the States under the Harmony, and Velvetone labels. But same song with and without Vocal. That is the only difference to this feature both from 1931.You are right on the money when you say they are rare, there is only a handful of these double track titles issued in the U.S. Very Scarce. I have a couple.

  • Great-sounding machine and your videocam produces first rate clips. Think I'm envious!

I like the tune, too. Thanks!

  • Fresh as ever!!

  • Wonderful tunes, fresh like Spring blossoms. So great to hear another superb version of Apple Blossom, of which I uploaded a Spanish version by Jaime Planas (which is excellent too).

  • I think these Double Track Records must be quite rare, I dont have any in my collection. This is true bright and breezy 1931. Good to see a 'george' upload again!.

  • Upbeat and bright and breezy. Like the hand ever ready, should it be needed!!. Two great songs on an unusual and collectable record. Great to see a george upload too!.

  • The record has a scratch that causes the needle to jump onto the other tune, hence tha manual intervension to keep in Apple Blossom Time!
