I'm sorry to hear that Merv Griffin has passed away.

I only watched his talk show when he had Eva Gabor on; always joking, laughing, and kidding around. Even after his talk show ended, they were still dating, and there were rumors that they were going to get married.

Now after 12 years, I'll bet that Eva Gabor has welcomed her "dahling" into the afterlife with open arms and having a ball.

Merv Griffin will be deeply and sadly missed. May he rest in peace.

Merv was also one hell of a piano player, and a great supporter of young musicians. He was also the chairman of the board of the organization for young musicians. RIP Merv.

Merv was the essence of class and sincerity. He always seemed interested in what his guests had to say without exploiting them. And he didn't seem boastful about his wealth as much as he seemed appreciative and fun-loving about the way he did business.
