You show the Frequency increase and the Duty Cycle is stable this is great. What is the resolution of the Frequency, 1Hz, 10Hz, 100Hz or just what you are showing 1000Hz?
Is there another computer that will run your pwm as real time program ? I think the Arduino is good for monitoring cell as long as you are in the room with it, but as for leting the computer search for the right combination of variables, it seems it would take a long time and a lot of adjusted of the program. Are there any if, and, or, while statements in the arduino's language ?

The Arduino Will allow 1 hz increments
10 HZ Increments
100HZ
1000 HZ
10000 HZ
100000HZ Increments Up To 400 KHZ

Yes the Arduino language is a full C compiler with limited visual classes. It uses the ATMEG 328 Micro controller.
