I got my snug pierced about three days ago & today I noticed it looks more swollen than it has the past two days & I'm freaking myself out. I don't want it to reject.

This is my first kinda exotic piercing. I've had a normal cartilage pierced & two on my lobe but that's all.

My piercer told me to use bactine... Which I keep hearing negative comments about.

@stephhhxxD use salt soaks and this baby swells like theres no tomorrow so dont be scared just try not to touch it with dirty hands, try not to bumb it, and try to clean it will salt soaks twice a day:)

I got my rook piercing done about a month ago...in my opinion....from a scale of 1 to 10 the pain when actually getting it done was like a 6....the pain is the afterwards lol...taking care of it, swelling a bit..etc...but its not painful when you actually get it :)

THREE MONTHS?! x-x;; Man. Just for the swelling to go down. I started out great with mine, not sleeping on that side, cleaning it once a day with an antibacterial soap and a saline soak, no bumps, but JEBUS is mine swollen. It's tender when cleaning. My fucking retard of a manager at work decided randomly to smack me with a piece of cardboard, and guess which side he smacked me? Yeah. =/ Hoping this doesn't reject.

I got mine the saturday before memorial day -.- it got swollen for that whole week! i had a headache & everything, if anyone decides to get this piercing, trust me tylonel is going to be your bestfriend, i also suggest Neosporin oitment for the swelling of it. thankfully mine has gotten back to normal but i have a very small keloid now, its very small, but does anyone know how to treat it?

@Rainbowx3Lover42 keep salt soaking it and dont stop do it twice a day for about 2-3 months... and dont stop... try not to bump it either cause it reswells really easily. i must tell you this piercing is a bitch to keep up! but it looks amazing when its all healed
