I just saw you guys play this weekend at All Good Festival in WV. thank you so much the up lifting vibe and sheer originalness of it all. thank you again.
your first album blew my mind at about 6am in a field near banbury back in 95. then managed to catch up with one of your shows in boulder, colorado where i now live, about five or six years ago. i've always wanted to learn how to play the didg....maybe need another festival in a field.
I have your 95 album, Out OF the Woods on CD. I also have an old tape with material from that album that sounds much more raw, for example - under the influence doesnt have the brass stabs but sounds as though it is played on a synth of some kind. There is also a tune on this tape that has a syncopated loop that goes: E E E, E E E, E, EGb, GbAb
its so simple but such a good grove - is there any way i could get this more raw sounding stuff on CD?
I've got your 95 album, Out Of the Woods on CD. I also have an old tape with quite a few songs from that album on but they sound more Raw and there is also other material that i havent managed to find, one of which is based around a syncopated synth-like loop going E E E, E E E, E - E Gb - Gb Ab
from my rather unclear description, have you any idea where i could get hold of that stuff on disc? cheers
I caught you just jamming at Glasto in 93 with a sampler and an amp. It just blew my mind. I wandered off right there and then determined to find and purchase a Didgeridoo. I spent the rest of that Glastonbury with it by my side learning to play it. I still play to this day. Thanks for the music Graham. You should get back out there man.
We played a late night gig with battery power on a rough wooden stage a Glastonbury in '93 which changed our lives too. I'm glad to hear that it led you in some good directions too. I will get back to playing out and about sometime soon, once things settle down in other parts of my life.
whoa he sure how knows to use that big ol' thing, must have a lot of female fans. joke aside tho, this guy's great, never heard a didge used like this before (though I'm not from OZ either)
... and here's how to make your own life-sized Graham Wiggins from an empty washing-up liquid bottle and some sticky-backed plasic.. ;)
BTW.. I think Seritonality is probably my favourite Dr. Didg album. I always find myself reaching for one of my didges or my EWI whenever I have a Dr. Didg album playing...! I just love playing along !

Oh yes! I remember being there, shame it's lost it's vibe and become a shadow of what it was. The mid 90's spelled the end of it in my opinion.
