@thejokerswild07 Sorta, they don't have the same epic sounding music in "down the tubes" because they remixed the music, but overall, it's the same. Or at least I think it is, because I've never played th original, and have only seen youtube videos of it.

Gameloft...you are GODS! Umm..can you port 'Jazz Jackrabbit' to the iPhone. I don't know if you have/can get the rights to do so, but it would make my iPod complete. I used to play EWJ on my old PC along with GTA2, Jazz Jackrabbit and Duke Nukem 3D.

Well, it's nice to see a bunch of games coming out for the Apple hardware. But remember when they promised us a bona fide remake as opposed to just a port? That kind of went by the wayside... Then again, retrogaming wasn't nearly as big in 2005/6 as it was today, so far as I can tell.

juegazo, envidio a los que tienen i phone, lo baje para mi sonyericson k790a y esta al pedo, el unico detalle es la musica solo corre una vez, hay que picarle pausa para que se repita, algunos niveles son un poco mas cortos, no hay "level 5" ni el de pedro perrin, y el de "use your head" no es tan retador como en el super, pero pus por haberlo bajado gratis me siento afortunado, espero que salga la segunda parte, great game..........peace

Excelente juego, yo originalmente lo tuve en súper Nintendo, el único problema fue el control del itouch, algo difícil de acostumbrarse y tomando en cuenta que requiere ciertos saltos con presicion. Pero ya acostumbrado, es jugable, buenos gráficos, buena música, lo recomiendo si no re rinden fácilmente, porque hay un nivel debajo del agua que incluso en el super nintendo me costo mucho trabajo pasar. Pero muy recomendable, quiero que pongan también el earthlink worm jim 2.

Don't buy this for the Iphone/Ipod Touch. A large majority of people can't even get it to boot up. I've had it downloaded for a week already and only got it to run twice out of hundreds of tries.

Jim's voice is probably the original, but uncompressed. if that's not the case, it's a very close imitation.

animation's a lot smoother in the original, yet keeps the original feel, I approve

Ok, its better than "whole can of worms" remake, but still full of issues like broken animation and raw rendered\assembled backgrounds.

Sounds and music are really bad, must use original fx from Sega CD version.

And after all, this bright eye-candy style doesn't fit well for first EWJ game. Maybe for EWJ2 it would be better, because it much more cartoonish ans childish.
