The M2 Browning .50 cal doesnt have enough kinetic energy to bring down aircraft quick enough, nor do the rounds travel to target fast enough for jet combat. i think ur wrong:) first because it is always hard to find the cordinates of airdefence in a war it is never easy, the gun is not from iran it is from russia they changed it by reverse engineering tech, it fires 1300 in 1 mint, it is way tooo much for a helicopters it can be used best for missile, but i dont know why they need this since they have S-200, M1, and S300 these will do much better :)by the way this gun has protective and defensive radars:)
