This came out after "The Flame" - a single I could not stand (and even the band did not like when they recorded it) and I could sense that Cheap Trick was going down a very commercial path. I would listen to this on the radio, but it killed any curiosity I could have had for their later albums.

I have loved this band for 30 years!! My first "lesson" in singing Rock and Roll was by imitating Robin Zander. His voice is so awesome!! And he ain't hard to look at either!! I STILL can trace a lot of my vocal roots to him...they are all very talented musicians and lots of fun!!

Forgot to mention that Robin isn't just another pretty face....he's got charisma. Also Cheap Trick has a sense of humor...notice when they stop playing for a few seconds and then Bun E uses a remote. They dont seem to have allowed fame to go to their heads. They're secure in their talent and dont need to take themselves too seriously.

Sorry but this is so much better then Elvis. Anyway Cheap Trick is from where I live which is Rockford, Illinois. I once saw Rick at a Japanese resturant here. I was too afraid I would bother him to go say hi and get a pic and autograph. Kind of cool to say I saw them in concert here in this very city.
