Most people don't think about this subject in depth... they think adoption good/abortion bad. In the first case the child is in front of them - alive. In the second case, there is not living child yet. So adoption cannot be a solution to abortion. Unless people start talking about the rights of the child, this problem will never be solved. With adoption, they can pat themselves on the back. Problem solved.
