"sounding like shit" usually means there's glitchiness with the loops. that's just an artifact of how the loops are processed. max is a much bigger world, so it needs to be given more space than a DAW would that's already smoothed out all the rough edges.

max is an entire world, DAWs are absolutely wonderful and indispensible for what they provide, but ultimately limited. It's a strange world between the two... becoming musician-programmer-artist-GUI designer... fun though :)

I can't imagine why anyone would want to write anything negative about AGF. She is one of the most original composers of electronic music of our time. It would be interesting to know what kind of music doesn't 'sound like shit' to nevertheless 123 and Zkrudriverz.
