@Harrypotterpuppetpro thats funny cuz ive built plenty of PC's and a repaired quite a few macs and ya they are the same but mac just knows em better so to speak. better placement and you get EVERYTHING out of the mac that you put into it. all the processing speeds, memory, etc etc. and my windows 7 on my mac via VMware runs quite smoothly and faster then that POS PC sitting next to me... that and 3 other PC's need worked on... go fucking figure...

@6satan6ist6 Sorry, but you haven't bought good PCs, Macs aren't that great, they run hot due to cheap thermal paste applications, and they don't use good parts. PCs are way better for speed... You can get a way better processor, way better videocard, and way more RAM if you want. Don't buy from dell, get good machines and build them with high quality parts. none of the Macs I've owned have held up, mostly had screen issues or dying parts (probably as a result of the crazy heat).

@tingmor Yes. Microsoft and Apple made a deal to let Windows be installed on Mac's legally, Apple has also made drivers for it. For OS X to be installed on PC's Apple would more than likely need to make a deal with PC vendors, I.E Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, ETC. Considering Microsoft, does not make the PC's only the OS for them. Then if that were to happen (unlikely) all the vendors that make the deal, would have to make drivers. (Next comment)

It would probably have just as much problems as Microsoft OS's, because it is not made specifically for PC's. Just as Microsoft OS's are not personalized to meet the need for EVERY PC out there. Apple has the same hardware, for each system, and they make OS X, to run on it, which is why it is a great OS. Where as Microsoft OS's are more versatile, and can be run on a Mac.

If you screw up your vista in any way other os' won't be affected, if you screw with you BIOS the chances that your computer will ever work are extremely slim. I dual boot my win7 with ubuntu and i screwed my Bios but i was lucky 'cause i screwed the GRUB LOAD meaning that i could still boot up from a windows installation disc or without the time just use the ubuntu live cd...

It's possible to install a vista upgrade, i just did it today, all you gotta do is install it once without entering the serial key, and then once you're in vista, just run the upgrade. Once installed, you can go ahead and activate your copy of vista :)

I had to use the phone activation system though, it still worked.

I need Windows too, but I don't use it. I use a version on Linux that used to be called Lindows, but I don't know what it's called now. Microsoft sued them to change the name. FAGS!!!! Anyway... Lindows is designed to run Windows programs but has better security. Plus, no device drivers (you may know as DirectX), so fewer crashes. It's slower, but I can't risk losing my data. Wow, I actually found something slower than Windows. Lol. Anyway, it's a matter of pride. I will die before I use Windows
