I heard that hemp was made illegal in states from a big drug ban and some dude had a lot of money invested in cotton, so his part in the drug ban was making hemp illegal. Hemp is way stronger and cheaper than cotton.

To all the people with the "its natural" argument. If weed is ok to smoke because it is "natural", then is it ok to eat a poisonous mushroom too, because that also grows naturaly? Lets say for arguments sake that there are some "good" chemicals inside of weed, that still doesn't help the fact that the actual smoke itself is bad for you. Why do you think firefighters have to use breathing apparatuses when entering a smoke filled building? Inhaling smoke in ANY amount is not "natural" now is it?

The people who think weed should be illegal, need to stop smoking cigarettes, drinking beer, drinking mountain dew, coffee which is loaded with caffeine. These things are way worse for you than weed. What's the big deal? Personally, as a former user of pot and other "spiritually enlightening" substances, I don't care if someone wants to fry their brain for whatever reason. I find that since I stopped using, I am more successful, productive and in better health, but that is me. I can say though that the majority of the BJJ community I interact with don't share Bravo or Rogan's views. To each their own......
