The difference between him and the vast majority was that he had an ideal, and he fought for people´s rights. Guevara was a blood-thirsty murderer who killed thousands of defenseless prisioners AFTER the Cuban revolution had ended as a way instilling fear and terror in the people he was supposed to be liberating. His ideals don't mean shit to his victims. If I shoot you because you don't agree with my ideology (like Guevara would) am I justified? Any ideology with such perverse methodology is BAD ideology.

Firstly, Guevara did indeed kill hundreds and personally signed death warrants for thousands of defenseless prisioners AFTER the revolution ended ( and I define ended by the fact that Castro is in power and has not fought a single defensive battle since Bay of Pigs). Take special note of what I'm saying; defenseless prisioners executed AFTER the fighting had stopped.

as for not being aware of what happened in the revolution; I was 9 years old & living in Santa Clara, Cuba during the revolution. I could see the skirmishes in the streets through a crack in the boards my father had put over my windows. I saw the triumphant parades of the rebels into the city, hailed as liberators, I watched their speeches & news reports, I was taught their version of what took place in school & I've studied the matter for years since then.
