OMG!!! this is my favourite kelly clarkson performance of any song eveeerrrrrr!!! she has had some amazing belts but ive never heared a more powerful G5/G#5 before in my life (yes i think she does have a short drill into g# but you cant tell)!!! kelly is my hero, and im a boy, her and mick jagger, and the older MJ!!! but kelly is amazing!!!

If I read this correctly, Kelly just came up for this song - it wasn't rehearsed (though they did this song on Crossroads). It's obvious Reba really loves how Kelly sings it as she gives Kelly the main line in the chorus most of the time. Kelly is incredibly talented - no question - but after watching various vids of this song I think Kelly uses her "vocal gymnastics" a bit too much. When Reba sings she is always telling a story (w/ some flourishes). Sometimes Kelly is just about flourishes.

C'mon now, they are friends and really enjoy singing together, so don't get mad at each other, Kelly can tear it up vocally and I think that she is more versatile that Reba, and I like the fact that she focuses more on her vocals than on her movement, because some performancers dance around and mess up the song, but Reba has got so much street cred...so everyone chill...

i agree. guys can do whistles, lol. it takes a lot more range and strength to nail those super-high belted notes like kelly does. mariah can whistle better than anyone, but she doesn't have kelly's high-ass belting range.

I love both these girls! I honestly think they bring out the best in each other! Reba gets a little crazy at the end, too, and it sounds awesome! Complete and total passion, that's what singing's all about!

I would have to respectfully disagree with "dothelawnmower" about Reba's singing ability. Have you watched CMT Crossroads when Reba hit that note in Walk Away? OMG that woman has got some pipes. Not to take away from Kelly, she's awesome. I think you are primarily a Kelly fan whereas I am primarily a Reba fan:)
