  • Surely having an aversion to seeing folk suffer is a positive aspect of human thinking. Why would a person "seek psychoanalytic interpretation" for wanting to help other people. Helping people is good for society as a hole, whether they are defenceless babies or people who are to old or to sick to look after themselves.
