To get the reserve tank you just have to go back where the chozo drops you off, bomb to go through a pipe, force some robots into holes, then use your X-ray scope to see that you can power bomb the chozo at the end. Then you need to speed boost over the robots and super jump up the narrow hole that the chozo was blocking.

Hey Lancaster did you eventually figure out how to get the reserve tank or do you need someone to point it out? I grab it out of principle each time. One thing though: You have to blow up a Chozo statue to get it. No, it isn't a statue you've already been to, it's in the secret area itself.

When the Chozo statue drops you right outside the Gravity Suit chamber, look below Samus. You can bomb through that.

in the room the chozo statue droped you in at 7:20 you bomb the ground in front of the chozo statue then morph ball to the right in to a room with a missle tank power bomb the chozo holding the missle tank and speed boost to the right and duck once you get the speed boost to activate then shine spark up from the end of the path to get up to where that reserve tank is!

@98ERidgely the ones at the top? you just press select if your using default controls. i think. if not its y. if you mean the power ups you collected then press start, press R, and then press a to select/unselect items.

you have to shinespark up in the vertical corridor, you get it from the conveyor room having to time your shot just right.

you get the reserve tank by blowing up a certain chozo statue revealing a new path where you can speed boost then shine spark your way to there (the chozo statue is in the room next to the gravity suit but you have to blow up a block to get there)

i know overthegun went through maridia without the gravity suit but i have beat the game without it. because i forgot where it was, but still maridia was easy for me.

i know your gonna do another super metroid LP and idk when but here's some advice for getting the reserve tank:

when the chozo drops you just bomb the floor and you can go under the floor and powerbomb through some of the area and when you go through an opening you'll find robots and you shoot them into pits and when it's cleard just go back and speed boost and speed boost back and do a shining spark up and you'll be able to go through the collapsable floor

When the statue drops you, ue a morph ball bomb, roll through and ollow until getting to another chozo statue with missles, set off a nuke (power bomb) and speed run through the gateway you just opened up. then do the speed jump thing straight up.

To get the reserve tank you have to bomb the bit under the chozo statues arm when it lets go of you at 7:17 then go get the missile expansion at the end and then doing speed run and jump up....

Yeah as others have already said Lan you missed the bombable floor after the Chozo statue, and its funny because in that very video you talked about people telling you what you missed and this is probably the only time that you didn't know how to get a thing that you were missing.

hey lan you gotta bomb the floor below you after the chozo has walked you down those stairs...then you gotta shinespark upwards to break that speed booster block and get the reserve tank...it was pretty maddening for me to discover this the first time

OK, I know I sound like a complete dumbass when I say this but the whole reason Super Metroid rocks is because of it's sequence breaking and awesome soundtrack(I'm technically a Metroid noob! Don't hurt me!)? I bet there's more reasons.
