@kerranghighvoltage the reason is a bit complicated and 500 characters won't suit a good explanation. You should probably google "what causes midnight sun"
That was really awesome sir. My friend is from Northern Canada and told me about the sun skirting the horizon, but until I actually saw it there I could only imagine how cool it could actually look!
It aint actually that dark at midnight, at about 2 am, the sun is at its lowest point. which means that the TIME ZONE must be a bit messed up in your area. Anyways, cool vid. thx mate!
Incredibly done, my family's from there, daduk (grandfather) had 21 children, my mom bieng the oldest. Awesome coincidence, music is by my oldest son's great grandfather.

@polardiscoball You mean 60 frames per second?

@leonidhaimov I think I initially shot one frame every 10 seconds but ended up speeding up the footage quite a bit for this short.

Amazing video! I went to northern Norway last year in July and saw the sun through the small morning hours. I want to live there! :-)
Of course the flip-side is not seeing the sun at all between mid-November and late January.

Very nice video! The layer of clouds is especially interesting. That is a very ambiguous "sunrise".
