  • Play this at my funeral!

  • U nailed it! Good job! I love this song. My grandfather asked my grandmother to marry him while this song played. It is also their wedding song.

  • It took me three months to play my first note!

  • what are the notes

  • where did you get the song

  • @schoolnerd100 I had a midi file of the song, edited out the flute solo, and played it myself by ear.

  • I loved this! I was looking for the sheet music and this showed up so i decided to listen. And i thought you did an excellent job with this. I have been playing flute for about 6 years now and i know what it means to power-practice. Good job.

  • Do you have the sheet music? I absolutely adore this song and I play the flute :)

  • Listen "Ho difeso il mio amore", one song of Nomadi's!

  • i play this on my guitar is that wierd?

  • @djdcrazy no it isn't these are the mad notes!!!

  • Dude, I love this song. You sound awesome!

  • Hi BlueOceano84.

I trust you. This song is my very favorite song forever. I know very well what we can do when we are in passion for something or somebody. And if you're more gifted than average people, everything is possible.

  • Need the notes too pls!! Amazing sound :)

  • Hi! love this song. can you please send me the sheet music. i want to suprise my father playing it on my flute. this is his favorit song ever! PLEASE!!!

  • Could you also send me the notes? I just started playing and what better way than to practice with this song?

  • 3 months? excellent!!

  • can you please send me the notes too? thanks :)

  • This is one of my favorite songs/solos. Truly a beautiful solo and you did an amazing job.

  • Easy piece but still so pretty and for only having played flute for 3 months, that's amazing!

  • My daughter needs the notes to this for a concert. Can we please get them from you? Thanks much. Sounds great!

  • omgosh you must tell me where you got the sheet music for this! i love it!

  • it's not too bad to learn by ear actually try that and then look for the sheet music

  • That was awesome! I'm just starting to teach myself flute also. Your achievement is an inspiration!

  • It doesn't matter if you played it or not. Its a very basic song, and koodos to you for making good progress by starting with this solo. In three months into first playing my flute, my teacher expected me to know what an F sharp and D minor or whatever when I didnt even know how to hold the dang thing. :)

  • You go !! Good job. Good strong tone. I've had students who progressed in 3 months [GOOD students] this doesn't mean they can do everything yet, but you're on the right track!! I used to practice in my basement for up to six hours on some days . You're good!

  • Liar... I have been playing for the past almost 3 years and i am now in the 8th grade concert band at my middleschool and the highschool marching band... and i didnt even sound that good at 3 months... although those are some verry basic notes... concert b flat scale?

  • I do not lie. Read my past posts. I explain how I did it so fast.

  • @BringSongsSingDeath It's much much much easier to learn a musical instrument when you are older and have musical knowledge. 6th graders don't have the lung capacity that adults do. Also, they generally don't have the initiative to learn an instrument and don't practice at home at all. Plus, it's not the hardest solo in the world. :)

  • @BringSongsSingDeath then something perhaps didn't click with you... it is entirely possible to play this song at 3 months. Not all can do so, which is why he did such a great job considering the experience he had with flute. great job.

  • @BringSongsSingDeath Just because you couldn't play this good in 3 months doesn't mean that he can not?

I am well aware that this reply is more of less out of date since you wrote it 1 year ago. Yet i can't ignore such claims... Not all people are equally good at playing instruments. Heck, i had been playing for 3 days and i was better than one of my friends that had started a weel before me.

  • @BringSongsSingDeath well when i learned flute, i sounded like that after a few montths...mayby its just you

  • @BringSongsSingDeath then maybe you just suck.

LOOL , have you ever thought of that ?

  • I find it a bit hard to believe that you have been playing 3 months. prodigy or liar?

  • If you read my past posts, I explain how I did it. And I prefer the term... practice-a-holic. :-D

  • where can i get a piece for this?

  • @BlueOceano84 Ha~! Practice-a-holic. i was like that too when I first learned how to play the flute. If I remember correctly, I learned how to play rather quickly and was 1st chair in my 4th grade concert band after a few lessons. So, I could believe how you became this epic in three months.

  • @BlueOceano84 Practice a-holic? I praticed a whole freking lot and I could not use vibrato as shown in the video, which nowI can but my band director/nobody let us do more than play out of the book we got..

  • @SweetHomeOMine I always went out and got some of my own music. The books teachers give out are so boring! haha

  • I agree with you... big time

  • after three months of playing.

    wow!great job(:

  • I love the flute. Every culture has them....lovely sound. Good job.

  • I' ooking for a flute solo thanks for the help! This is exactly what I want!!!!!

  • Do you have the notes to the flute solo? I want to learn how to play it soo bad...

  • im in sixth grade and next year im going to join band and i was wondering if the flute was hard like holing it up or stuff like that?

  • It's actually pretty easy to hold it up. The flute is quite lightweight. Toughest part to the flute, I think, is getting sound out of it.

  • @BlueOceano84 I can agree there, I've been playing for five years now and I absolutely adore it ^^ My first year was the hardest, I used to get so frustrated. It's a little silly now :)

  • @BlueOceano84 i'd have to say the toughest part about playing the flute is adjusting your embouchure (the position of your lips on the mouthpiece), to maintain clarity, pitch, and to reach those higher notes that come out all squeaky without a proper embouchure.

  • that was gud. ive bin playin since3 grade bt i quit cuz i cldnt blow wel than started again in 5 grade nd im 7 now 1st chair concert band

  • for playing like that after three months

    PRETTY DAMN IMPRESSIVE

    :]

  • I played flute from 6th grade thru 2 years of college and I think she's lying.

  • I wanna be as good as that!!!!!!!!

  • Inspiring!

  • Oh my goodness...you had only been playing for 3 months when you did this?? That's amazing.

  • what are the notes please?

  • C,C# OR Dflat,D,D# OR Eflat,E,F,F#, OR Gflat(low),G(low),G# OR Aflat(low),A(low),A#(low),B,C,C#. OMG i forgot the rest

  • Really good, seeing that you've only started 3 months ago. Watch out for high notes though. The last few sec, the pitch was clashing with the midi file. But I guess its different when you play it with a midi file and when you play it with real orchestra members.

  • Your tone quality is amazing! I've been playing for 5 years and am no where near this good! Although I should be getting lessons soon.

  • OMG you must be a slow learner if your not thatt good xDDD lol dont take that to heart just sayin's

  • 3 Months??????

  • Hey.. you did extremely well! =D

i hav played the flute for 6 years now =D and i play a number of other instruments to..

can i hav the notes for this?

    Your very talented =D

    thanks!

    xo.

  • ok i kinda dont believe you that this is you playig bcuz 3 months is extremely short to be that good

  • I'm telling the truth when I say 3 months. Flute actually has similar fingerings to the upper registers of a clarinet, which I've played for almost 15 years.

  • ohhhhh that explains why you're so good!!!

  • no its not i was first chair in my begining band class after gradually raising my tone and now im in 2nd chair position of concert band after two months so its possible to be that good.

  • well maybe she has real talent...ive been playing for two years and even i dont sound like that but my friend is in 7th grade and play beautifully and i practice everyday...

  • wow!!!! its my 3rd month playing and im still second chair but tommorow is challenge day

  • two years and then three months nice :) i'm glad we get more flutes in the world lol I mean you also have to think about the possibilities of maybe she also played piano which helps in musicianship (anything in two octave or previous theory knowledge truly helps)

  • Yes, I play many other instruments. Piano, clarinet, and guitar mainly. I have almost 20 years of music experience and 10 years of piano lessons and theory to back me up. But it's always been my opinion that if you want to learn something and put your mind to it, nothing can stop you. It just takes practice and determination... lots of it :-D

  • that and if you really love a certain song and especially if you do it by ear you can sound as good as she does, i know that is what I do with many of my songs and on piano as well

  • Yeah what you said

  • Could you please send me the flute music too?

Thats really good, had you really only been playing 3 months when you did this?!? xx

  • I sent you the notes. And yah, almost exactly 3 months. Once I learned how to get a sound out of it, I learned this song.

  • please send me the notes thanks

  • could I get the music/backing track for this??

    YOU ROCK!

  • I don't have the midi file anymore. Sorry. But all I did was a search for the song and the word "midi". Once you have that, you just need a program that will let you edit the notes and delete the melody. Then you've got it!

  • cool video can u send me the notes to PLEASE

  • How do you play this sooo good? I tried, but it wasn't good enuff 4 me 2 post up here!!! Any suggestions? you seem like a pro @ the flute...

  • I just play/practice a lot. Music is my favorite hobby so I play every day (not always flute). I guess the only thing I do besides that is to always be working on a challenging piece of music. Feels really good when I can finally play it well and then I move to a tougher piece, so I keep advancing. And I listen to other flute players. James Galway is my favorite flutist.

And I think you should post your recording anyway. You put a lot of hard work into it so why not, right? :-)

  • Correction:

Went over my character count. I was going to say that Galway's my favorite, behind Ray Thomas of course.

  • Thank you! I will listen to more! I'll see...I need to take my flute to the repairs. I posted my bad piece in fast motion (LOL) , b/c I didn't like how it sounded regularly. But I usually don't sound that bad, but the piece I was playing was super hard!!!

  • Ooh this is lovley, could you send this to me too?

    x

  • Sent. Have fun! :-)

  • can you send it to me, too? I have been playing flute for 1 yr now...

    BEAUIFUL!

  • It has been sent. Enjoy!

  • Very nice!!!

Can you also send me the notes for this piece? Cheers

  • please could you send me the music for this,

    thanks!

  • I know you have been getting a lot of calls for this but if I could also get the music for the flute solo, that would be amazing. Also thanks in advance.

  • i don't need the notes because i don't own a flute, but nice vid

  • Oh man, could I get in on this music-sending action?

I would LOVE to play this on my own flute myself!

  • The notes have been sent. Enjoy!

  • can you send the notes to me too please, i havent played my flute in like 4 years and i heard this today, help me out? ha

  • The notes have been sent.

  • Hi BlueOceano,

  • I just sent the notes to your youtube mail.

  • Nice. My daughter is taking flute lessons; I would like her to learn to play the flute piece from Nights. Do you know where I could buy the sheet music? Thanks!

  • i would like to know, too!

  • I'll send you the notes.

  • Nice Job. I am a flute player myself and I thought you sounded really good.

  • Thank you.

  • u have such a nice tone good job
