I gotta question. Do you guys know if MJ's music really was further remixed for the soundtrack of Sonic and Knuckles? I asked cause I thought it would be to hard to believe that certain MJ songs can be mashed up with the BGM from certain levels of S&K since they don't sound alike at all.

Anything replaced in S&K collection is a calling card for MJ, so CN 1+2, IC 1+2, LB 1+2, Knuckles (S3), Act 1 Boss (S3), Competition Menu and Credits (S3) are all the ones that are his.

After that everything was composed and arranged by Sega, but relationships can still be made between whatever Jackson et al. originally created (and thereby was replaced in the final version) and the final versions.

ex. Scirocco's cues for HC + MG (made w/ MJ) that were most likely dropped.

Whereas CN, IC and LB were not replaced in time by Sega's Sound Team, Scirocco's profile proves the existence of at least two tracks (the original HC and MG created with Brad Buxer while working for Michael Jackson on the project) that had to have been replaced in the final version of Sonic 3 b/c HC and MG weren't replaced in S&K Collection.
