Thanks for posting this song here. I have always loved By Heck, it is my favorite Dorsey Brothers tune of all.

This was the first time the Dorseys recorded this one [June 13, 1933, for Brunswick; this is the "alternate take" later issued on Columbia]. They later recorded a version for Decca in August 1934, and another one for Associated-Muzak in January 1935.
