That movie wasn't disgusting. It was very inspirational. In cased you missed the deeper meaning, the whole movie is anti-war and anti-violence, it depicts extremities because that's how the world really is. The director has noted this in an interview.

What enters you through the eye gates also manipulates you - good or bad.
