Barrel Puzzles in the Fade - Dragon Age 2

the first solution doesn't work i follow this exactly and before i click the final barrel i am attacked every time

before you get to the first puzzle (th one with the small barrels) go to the left and you will find a faded book floating around, it may take a few times but if you click on it once it will stop moving, become solid, click on it again and you will recieve an attribute point.

the first part is very good. With the second part you should lower the camera angle more so it's not so high

You forgot to add the flying book in the first room. All you need to do is wait where it becomes solid and click on it. It will fall and you can read it for a total of 4 attribute points in the fade. :P

Note that whoever is your active companion for the last move is the one who gets the attribute point. (I accidentally clicked on a different char partway through and just left it, so Hawke missed out.)

@doomsday3010 You need to help the Dalish boy who is a apostate. You first help her mother find the kid and later you help him get into the Dalish instead of sending him to the circle. Then later you will get this quest :P

@kinslayer120 Doesn't matter where you send him, you still get the quest. My warrior sent him to the circle (mainly because she was humping Fenris) and still got this.

@doomsday3010 Quest name is Night Terrors. It's a letter in Act 2. Probably have to complete Wayward son in act 1 and send him to the Dalish.

pretty sure if you stack the barrels wrong you get attacked by rage demons and shades. I had all red on bottom all brown on top left and all beige on top right

@MorningWoods69 i think it's triggered by a limited amount of turns, if you don't solve it in like 10-12 turns the demons spawn and the puzzle fails.

yes, but the thing is sometimes the barrels just move the wrong way. Sometimes I was stuck clicking 5 times because that darn barrel went further up instead of down and it locks again. Very annoying to complete.
