Reminds me of two of my hamsters... only after a while the awkward little things put food in theirs too. I bought a spare wheel and ended up taping the original down on both counts.They sleep in the wheels even with bedding boxes and other places to burrow... go figure xD

I love how hamsters will drag their bedding and such into the wheel and then start running on it. Mac did that a lot and sometimes he did that when his brother Meehan was in there too so they'd both get their bedding on them. Whenever I removed the bedding they dragged it up the ramp and into the wheel. :/
