yaya, the horn will go! At the moment the car is undergoing a frameoff, a build 489 will replace the 454 and the paint and wheels will be 78 pacecar like.

Shelbyeuropa, thanks for the reply about the horn. It obviously is an after market item. I had to replace mine and they don't exactly sound like the factory ones but meet Federal Regulated Standards. Extremely nice Corvette. The front plate, are you in the US? Not a stupid question as many Vettes are outside of the US. By the way, what kind of horn do you have? Thus my question of whether in US or not. I had a 1970 and 1973 Vette, now an 87 Vette but never heard such a horn. The motor sounds very healthy. 2 Thumbs up. Way UP!
