I think I might have Marfan syndrome, I have pectus excavatum, arachnodactyly, and wingspan nearly 4 inches greater than height. I can't believe no one has picked up these things on my medical check ups. But apart from all of that, I'm not tall and have never had any heart or eye problems. I pray to God that I only have a mild version if I do have it. What can I do to get a definitive answer?

Thank you for posting this video. I am a 6'3" female with Marfans and no one ever knows what it is. People know about all SORTS of heart diseases that you acquire later in life, but few know of the congenital ones, such as what those of us with Marfans deal with.

my friend has marfans he has a hunched back and a sticky-out sternum ppl at my school think hes a freak=[ marfans can be genetic and cause lung and cardiac problems aswell as spinal low weight and brittle bones but if u have it dnt wry as long as the docs watch u and ur carefull ul be fine. i dnt think you can go into boxing or wrestling cuz of heart and chest implications... dunno ul have 2 ask ur doctor

Abraham Lincoln doesn't have Marfan Syndrome but it is suspected that he had because of his large stature . But it hasn't been confirmed yet

my 2 year old has the symptoms of Marfan but more obvious is that he also has symptoms of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. IDK if you can help me or not but I was curious to know if it is possible to have both Marfan Syndrome and Ehlers-Danlos. Both of these have similar symptoms so we need to do genetic testing as well as the slit-lamp test to rule out 1 or the other...so far the cardiologist thinks EDS. I think the slit-lamp test is going to be deciding factor.

While pregnant with my 5th child we learned that my husband may have Marfan. Since then I have noticed very many symptoms in my 5 year old and the last baby. So we started doing the symptoms check and even though as of yet my 5 year olds symptoms are not very strong although he does have Pectus Carinatum(idk if i spelled this right) as does my husband, and his stature also is similar to Marfan but right now he has a possible diagnosis and his doctors want to keep an eye on him.
