Getting reactions similar to your bewilderment is a small part of why Iggy is so great. His raw, almost tongue-in-cheek F-you attitude just does it for me. And for a guy who appears to be insane, his song writing was nothing to sneeze at. I think his material is pften musically interesting aside from the in-you-face antics.

Yet another outstanding Iggy video from the seventies! Iggy was so ahead of his time and his stage presence was mesmerizing. This is why youtube is so great; I've never seen these performances and probably never would have if not for this online community. I don't think many of Iggy's records captured his essence, but every single video I've seen of him on this site, be it live or even lip-synched has been compelling and intense. Puts all the posers to shame!
