Introducing IRC7 - The IRC-client for Windows Phone 7

Bought my first Windows phone. The first true issue has come across: I can't leave IRC on background. I know it is a Mango -limitation, but.. but. but please, tell me, is this ever going to change? MS said anything? I knew i could except something like this... Could the lock key be reprogrammed for the IRC7 so it would show blank screen so i don't accidentally exit the client and it might save some power and give me some privacy too.
