I have two questions: How do I choose Android or Windows ?

It automaticly goes to Windows.

And, I' ve installed uTorrent, Msn, MsnPlus, Chrome and Foobar2000. but if I hold the FN button and press volume up or down, i don't see the onscreen speaker thing that shows how many bars from the volume is raised... The same I have is with the Caps lock, I used to see a lock that opens and closes if you got caps lock off, or on... How do I get those 2 back ?

@fankechieq there the same thing. like most laptops, netbooks, etc, the letters are kinda just the full codename. its actually the number that counts. so it could be called aspire one 255, d255, or d255e.

I just upgraded my OS (from windows starter to ultimate). Unfortunately, the hardware drivers of my laptop (aspire one d255) was then uninstalled after i replaced my OS. So now, I am not able to use the internet and some other stuff that need drivers.

Can anyone please tell me what drivers should i install for this particular laptop!

Just a note, that the higher priced EU versions have a 6-cell / 4400 mAh battery.

The cheaper ones might have the 3-cell version as in the vdeo above.

I just bought this today on boxing day in Canada. I got it for $195 brand new! with kaspersky and 8gb sony usb stick free! i got really lucky, I think for the price i paid this laptop is worth it. The performance is on par with any other atom netbook that has simlar hardware, DONT expect quad core speeds and you will love it. Looks super stylish in black, bad battery though with the 3 cell, the screen is excellent. Overall 4/5 stars from me, try waiting till it goes on sale to get the best value
