I love how people complain about 2 dimensional characters, but then here we have a character who is exhibiting GREAT emotion and lifelike behavior and the best we can call him is "emo". God I love idiots. Nero has some of the best acting I have ever seen in a video game character. Capcom has done great. And the music gives me chills. Hot damn I wans this game.
I concur his character isnt emo. Now if the character was to say dwell on the past and do nothing but talk to himself about how "tragic" it was. and if the character develops no further dwelling on the past. then that i call emo. that and cutting wrists. Of course what i just described about a character who exhibits no change and constantly dwells on the past is a true 2d character

The official website said it's called a white knight. Plus, if you look at 02:59 - 03:08, you see all the enemies Nero fights look the same.
