I don't know what they're doing , but there could be many explanations .
1.) they could be responding to a call , and then could have been sent back to the station by the dispatcher because they weren't needed anymore ( I know from experience ) .
2.) Miami Dade Fire Department sends firefighters with their tucks to shop for food in case there's a fire or a medical call when they're buying food . By the way firefighters buy the food with their own money NO TAX MONEY USED ON GROCERIES .
I would ask that individuals refrain from responding to this person. In my opinion, he is not mentally stable and possibly a danger to fire rescue personnel. If this individual suspects that there is criminal wrong-doing or official misconduct then he can file charges with the appropriate agencies. Let the truth be the defense. Keep up the great job of providing excellent service to the citizens of Miami Dade County.

My complaints to Miami Dade OIG are a matter of public record, go check them out and tell me what you come up after careful examination. This has gone for more than a year, and contrary to popular MDFR opinion I did not pursue any of these vehicles.
