hi, after watching your review a couple of times, i decided to buy this camera, bought it this saturday(2days ago), but there's something i noticed with mine, when i turn it on, it makes this ticking noise that sounds like this,''ticky-ticky, ticky-ticky'', and it's a continuous sound except when it's in playback or recording video. don't know if yours does the same or is mine faulty? i'd really appreciate your reply to know if it's normal or i should take it back to where i bought it...thanks.
I have the same problem w/ the battery - it runs out in an evening! One thing that I am not satisfied about is it´s very slow to take pictures in sequence. Anyone have any inputs on this?
@droobydoodle I have to say the battery life is poor on this camera, I am always worried it will run out hence why I got a spare. I don't think you can change the speed at which photos are taken in sequence because this is how the camera is built. Maybe try going into the settings and looking for a shutter speed change. Hope this helps!

@Jaatelo112 My battery lasts very well. I used it for a full day of on and off photo taking and recording on less than a full charge. I think you have got a dodgy battery. Have a look on Amazon and get a replacement.
can you zoom while recording? I read some reviews on amazon and someone complained about that. I hope they're wrong I'm giving this camera as a gift and I know they enjoy playing around with the zoom.
@modar I have been able to zoom while recording sometimes, and sometimes not. This really isn't a big problem though. The field of view this camera has is very wide so your shot takes a lot in :) hope this helps!
@TheLoveOfHorses1 I dont think it does have anything to do with the macro, the zoom feature while in record has no impact on focus in macro. There is a macro setting! :)

@chomychoco I would take this back as soon as possible, sounds like you have a fault my camera does not make any noises like you explained.

@TheLoveOfHorses1 I dont think it does have anything to do with the macro, the zoom feature while in record has no impact on focus in macro. There is a macro setting! :)
