the interior of this generation is soo much cooler looking than the 09-10 model year. but the exterior of the 09-10 is soo much better than tht one....
Oh thanks! When its all detailed and everything it is very sharp. You can see it all pretty in my slideshow video, its hiding somewhere in my 50 something videos... It looks like a "Mafia Car" according to my mom lol.
I think she'll love it. My mom drives it now, I have too many cars anyway, lol. My friend has a Galant 3.8 V6, I think it's a Ralliart edition. They also came in 4 cylinders but the V6 is worth so much more in so many ways. I've always liked those too.
Does anyone know if these cars are prone to break down? Do they give a lot of trouble? Im about to buy a 2004 Optima for around 6000$ at 30k miles. Im trying to figure if this is a good deal...
That sounds like a good deal to me, 30k miles is low for an '04! Working for Kia, I never saw any Optimas of that generation come in with many problems, only ones that people neglected for thousands of miles. You should be fine! Post if you get it!
Ya I went yesterday to buy the car but It was sold already. I found it on Craig's list in my area. I was also told that same day that Kia are really crap cars. They give a lot of problems and thats why most of them are soo low in miles and prices.
Jetta's are nice. My dad wants to trade the Optima for a TDI Jetta, but he isn't sure my mom wants to drive a diesel, haha. They get great MPG, but I think 34 MPG out of a V6 is great.
If I could afford it, I would. Maybe I could get a Jetta TDI for my sister! She is 17 soon. I've gotten cars for everyone else, why should she miss out? I really like the '06 models, the same year as the optima. They even look similar on the rear!
As much as I love American (see my Supercharged Chevrolet Lumina) I would much rather drive a new foreign car over a new American vehicle. I'd stick with old domestics and newer foreign cars. Just my opinion. This has been the least troublesome vehicle I've ever had, except for the Lumina which keeps on rolling no matter what.
lol, quick response! I've only had the experience with 1 mopar product and I loved it, mom's old '95 Intrepid 3.5 ES. That thing was amazing, then the transmission went out for the 2nd time and we sold it...

@yummy1234098 - I believe a combination of the two would have sold extremely well.

You guys should keep the Kia and just buy the Jetta TDI. They are both good cars.
