Of course it's not vicious, but it is an example of the type of immature behavior that could come back to haunt him. Let's hope that he does not end up being his own worst enemy. Break given! Take care!
I'll admit that was an immature move on Cousins' part, but that was a very emotional game and both teams were hyped up. I also hope Cousins can control his emotions more in the future. God bless!
By in his face do you mean was not guarding him? Regardless, Cousins has a huge upside, but as my old drill sergeant used to say, "one aw sh** equals ten attaboys". These are the kind of things that could cost him in the long run if he is not careful.
@Doc53 ? He was guarding him and got called for a foul. MOst players stand there and stair at the refs like "who me"...Besides that Buckles is a class act, no problems outta him.
Head, neck, upper extremity, whatever. The plain and simple fact you point out. He threw a forearm/elbow intentionally. It was wrong. I will "get over it" when I accept that it was all right for Christian Laettner to stomp on Aminu Timberlake. I'll never accept or respect that sort of thing. The game in question was over one month ago and I have long since moved on.
What it does show at the very beginning of the video is Buckles walking into Cousins while at the same time trying to act innocent with his arms in the air. Make no mistake, Louisville players got everything they deserved in this game. They brought the taunting and baiting and trash talking with them. Why should anyone be surprised?
No, not at all. But it is clear that you -- and people like you who take the time to place these edited clips on youtube -- only want to show Cousins in a bad light. It's as if Cousins, and ONLY Cousins was the bad guy in this game. Yes, Cousins plays with emotion... which has been 98% positive for UK. But make no mistake, Louisville players came into this game with a major chip on their shoulders. I was there and witnessed it. They had a clear agenda and began the game playing that way.
Oh... and btw, thanks for giving me the 'thumbs down' -- as if that really carries some weight since you of course would not agree with anyone having an opposing view. I'm surprised you didn't give yourself a 'thumbs up.'
You're welcome, but this is an open forum and I don't remember rating anything. As I write this I see 581 total views, so please don't jump to conclusions. By the way, what are you implying by claiming this is edited? It is simply an excerpt from the game; nothing more, nothing less. Should I have posted the entire game?
Again, you need to avoid fallacies of argument as this is not about me (and people like me) as you imply. It is about flagrant actions. Also, as for the "bad guys" in the game, there was plenty of unsportsmanlike conduct to go all around, but the elbow to the head did trump everything else.
You don't remember? That hardly seems like a firm denial. Regardless... moving on. By editing, I mean taking a small segment of the game (10 sec) and implying by your headline that Cousins is at fault for what you think occured in this clip. The problem is... you only see what you want to see. Buckles walked into Cousins path. What do you expect Cousins to do? Your clip proves nothing. What I can't figure out is why so many Louisville fans fixate on Cousins by posting videos from this game?
What I think = what I saw = what the video shows. Nothing more, nothing less. What I read is that you still base your arguments on fallacies by continually changing the subject by redirecting to totally irrelevant issues. BTW, shame on Buckles for attempting to guard his man! A foul was called and, oh well... Regardless, I am not anti-Demarcus Cousins nor do I continue to fixate on a video from a month ago. I am just responding to someone who happened to look at a month old posting.
As far as flagrant actions, it wasn't an elbow to the head... it was a forearm to the neck after Cousins felt a blow to the side of his head. Cousins obviously reacted to what he thought was an intentional blow. In the heat of the moment, I probably would have done something similar. Now... please get over it!
Wow! Thanks! Such a nice comment! I sure hope that I am replying to a child, because no adult could surely want to claim such prose! If you do actually happen to be an adult all I can say is it shows that you have a lot of class, but too bad it's all low!
This is how our rivalry should always be

@hoofhearted4uk
So let me get this straight. You're basing your argument on the fallacy the "two wrongs make a right". Is that what you really mean?
