just got one of these and made the mistake of trying on concrete first..... will have to get another set of tyres as i only drove it for 1-2min and they are pretty scuffed, i used 2000grade wet/dry then cut and polised them and it helped, sort of, i still cant drift haha
im pretty sure this uses 2 or 4 aaa batterys in the car and 2 in the remote. u can buy a aaa charger with 2 aaa batterys for about $20 and then a pack of 4 aaa rechargable batterys for like $8. not that expensive realy. and unlike rc type batterys u can use them in other things :P
I picked my 180SX up while on a trip to Japan. Its a great deal in my book. Its not SUPER expensive and fun to slide around on any smooth surface. I wouldnt take it out on the street though. Its best for indoor or painted garage floor use.
Yes, it is fun to play in on hardwood floor, or table top, but definitely not on concrete. Actually I tried to play on office carpet, which can still do drift, but not that nice.
@ibuyxyz Could it drift on usual wooden floor like not the one thats shiny just pure wood and some paint over it cause thats what my floors are like??? :D
Sorry, it is not the same size as Mini-Z. However, you can buy the TAKARA TOMY Aero R/C series normal tires, which will fit on the Drift Package Light cars.
Cheap ass song ... Not car ... Song ... REALLY THATS THE WORTH COPY OF AN INITIAL D SONG THAT I HAVE EVER HEARED ...

Hi, i wish to know is it using AAA batteries on the chasis? how many it need? and can it last long?
i plan 2 buy 1 drift package lite, the problem is i cant afford 2 buy the batteries in a long run (If its using AAA batteries)
how?? May i have your opinion?
SEz610i 3 years ago
3 AAA batters in the chassis, and 2 AAA in the remote :(
It doesnt last long, first 10 minutes give you super drift, after that it just turns into a normal RC :(
MavericSol 3 years ago
they only last 10mins. i was gonna get 1 but not any more
aussiepride116 3 years ago
Ahhh my friend trust me.
Mine lasts 3 weeks.
Seriously, i'm not even joking.
It depends on what type of battery you use.
I use 1100 mAh rechargeables, costed me £6?
And yes, it lasts for such a long time :)

what battery?

hi, too bad, though it look like pistol grip, but it is just on/off switch. but the driving is still easier than using the button style control.
ibuyxyz 3 years ago
@ibuyxyz what do u mean on off switch?
