Lars is awesome, its one thing to make every song a drum solo like joey does, and its another thing to lead a band and still make a song sound badass, Lars does it

@Ramtough93 that depends on what song you are thinking of and what part os his drumming you mean when it comes to double bass drums then yes thats right he is good at that but its nothing to really be impressed of but his rythm holding when playing live and his precision that is something to be impressed of besides all drummers sometimes uses easy tecnics in songs that any one can learn

@lordifandk His double bass is easy, his bass drums are trigged and could be heard if you lightly tapped them. His beat is not at a steady pace most of the time, and it is mixed in with fast fills that almost every drummer i know, including me, can do. Overrated. If you want a "good drummer" without considering the metal legends like Lars and Bill Ward who have a simple style, but lead a band well, check out Carter Beauford.
