also, go to radio shack and get a long 3.5mm headphone jack and just plug it into the itouch's headphone jack. why bother wasting 40 bucks on crap

im gonna get like 400 cable extenders so i can charge my ipod in multiple floors of my house lol.

Also good idea for the extender, many speaker systems connect via 30-pin connector so u cant use any apps like twitter so use the extender and boom good sound quality and completly useful.

I have the same issue of trying to get the USB to my ac adapter. But i don't see the use in buying a "dock extender" when you could just get a USB extension lead. I found one lying, unused, around my house and that's what I use now. I guess it might be usefull if you have charging on an iHome and you want to play on your iPod. But for USB extension you mine as well use probably cheaper USB lead. Sadly, my ihome h5 is outdated enough to not allow charging for newer iPods.
