  • That damn harp is frowning at me

  • And all the baby boys we born, with eyes averted from the storm. Sent off to die in perfect form, we know not now what we have known <3

Possibly my favourite line, but I like the rest of the song so much!

  • I thought she was playing a giant's backwards thong..

  • her harp looks epic from that angle...haha

  • the changes and melodies of this song are so beautiful and original... but if feels like ive heard this song a thousand time before... <3 u joanna!

  • Joanna plays What We Have Known on her new instrument, some kind of strange lamp

I laughed so hard at this.

  • !!! zomg i thought it was some giant lute or something, but no... its her harp head on! lol!!

  • by some great fortune, i stumbled across the bootleg for this whole show online, and i'm happy to hear she is consistantly exquisite throughout.

eee i think i'm in love..!

  • haha i couldnt agree more

  • bella cancion

  • Best anti war song ever.

  • I agree, I love the fact that it comes from a very feminine point of view. It makes it more moving, mothers grieving for their children, it's heart breaking.

  • It's so sad precisely because the song sounds so beautiful, but the words mean the exact opposite..I wonder how many people listening to this song really listen to what she's saying.

  • the lyrics are all available on the web, but I dont understand... the "exact opposite" of what??

  • it's an anti-war song...it deals with ugly issues concerning the identity of those who have 'come home' and yet she sings it so beautifully. if people only listen to her voice or the music, they sorta miss out what she's saying.

  • @CaptainSlothrop can't disagree.... its on par with Scarborough Fair by S & G. Similar beauty, prose....

  • Luff her so much.

    D.

  • Thanks a lot !..Love it, it's such a great song :D

  • One of the best B-sides I've ever heard. It's great to see this one played live.

  • I'm guessing you were joking about the lamp thing... : P but just in case you weren't, that's still a harp, just from the end... the big wide thing is the sound box. I'm glad she's playing this song again!

  • its not a harp mate! clearly a lamp!

  • im glad she is too, its a beautiful song.

  • Oh I was really glad that I was at this same concert. It was truly magical!

  • goosebumps!

  • What a great gig and great to see it sold out too. Nice one!

  • Oh she was so lovely!
