@smparsons111 I don't think it's autotuned... I just compared with a raw footage of this song from someone who was there filming. The pitches aren't different in this video compared to the other. That's what it sounds like to me, at least, and I've been in music for years and I'm doing a basic three-year music education now. Peace. :)

@StripedAndScaled I was there, they DIDN'T sound that good (because Ben was sick) and Nick Coyle sounded like shit because well it's Nick Coyle. Mark their old bass player told me they all had to re-record it and add it to this video.

Yea, i read that Ben fired the guitarist and the bassist, but he also said that he will continue making music. Also Chad is still in as far as i know, which is good since he is amazing drummer. Gotta love them :D
Well first off if it was auto tuned it would sound like the black eyed peas on the super bowl. Auto tuning live doesn't sound real at all, the studio versions take hours of work for it to sound natural, and it's impossible to do that live in time.

@LauRaLuli. They won't come to Spain, Ben has a BAD phobia of flying, if they can't get there by bus, they won't go. Plus he's been sick for a while, the bands future is uncertain.
I know a lot of people are saying he's not using autotune, but there's definitely something there warbling his voice (and he does sound very autotuned).

@Tragedyinagraveyard I'm definitely not confusing the back up vocalist for anything. I know the difference between vocal harmonies and a distorted voice.
I guess if nothing else, it could just be the quality of the video distorting the audio, but there is definitely something there (if there wasn't, there wouldn't be so many people assuming he's using autotune).
Just to clarify, I do like the performance. I was merely pointing out an observation.
One of my pet peeves is when someone uses auto-tune on their voice while performing. But for some reason, it doesn't bother me a bit in this one. Maybe it's cause ben can actually sing, or that it's subtle, possibly a mix of the 2. Anyways... BB ROCKS!

@HeavyVerbzz They aren't using amps. It's acoustic because there's nothing "electric" about the sound. I love it.

I know a lot of people are saying he's not using autotune, but there's definitely something there warbling his voice (and he does sound very autotuned).
With that being said, I am a bit BB fan - just wondering if anyone can tell me what's up with his voice here if not autotune?

@kevluvzchips idk what ur talkin about man i dont hear any voice effects hes spot on this time, the acoustic stuff tends to be spot on, or very close to it. its probably the backup vocalist your confusing for an effect

@Tragedyinagraveyard I'm definitely not confusing the back up vocalist for anything. I know the difference between vocal harmonies and a distorted voice.
I guess if nothing else, it could just be the quality of the video distorting the audio, but there is definitely something there (if there wasn't, there wouldn't be so many people assuming he's using autotune).
Just to clarify, I do like the performance. I was merely pointing out an observation.

One of my pet peeves is when someone uses auto-tune on their voice while performing. But for some reason, it doesn't bother me a bit in this one. Maybe it's cause ben can actually sing, or that it's subtle, possibly a mix of the 2. Anyways... BB ROCKS!
