In my dance class, or teacher would make us start over if we mess up or bad turn out. And if u were in my class u would have 2 start over 4 turn out. But no worries, thats y I have 2 start over!
i used to be a highland dancer, i quit not long ago turn out youre knees, point youre toes and add a little height, dont worry you will get there. It took me a while i did it for 5 or 6 years but now i got bored and quit.
Keep those toes curled and arched, you have beautiful feet. You are doing great as long as your having fun. Check out Candice Taylor dancing with the Wicked Tinkers at O'Blarnys. It is fun and if you ever get to see them in person they will let you dance with them. One of the dances she does is the Hornpipe and the other one is a choreography created for a set called Hugh Ross. She calles it The Jester and dances with a jester head. She has a "my space" with the costume she wears to preform in.
give up now, youll never get anywhere. i started HD when i was 12, sucked for a year and a half, but i kept going because i love the dance. if it isnt what makes you happy it will never be worth the work to get anywhere.
Your timing is all perfect even thought you dont have any music, and you know the step! Which is the hardest part, but everything will get better with practise. Trust me ive been at it for 8 years hehe and my timing sucks so your doing great! Just keep practising :)
just make sure ur back leg is turned out , your feet our pointed , and you hop really high !!!

You just need to keep your knees turned out and your points sharp. Tartanlady, that's mean. You need practice to learn, and it wasn't really bad.
